This science-fiction film takes a horror film premise - a small group of people are picked off one by one by a ruthless foe - and manages to strip it almost completely of scares. Go to Full Review

Gamers will have a bit of deja vu watching this, but it is a well managed movie with some cool, controlled performances among the detonations. Go to Full Review

Kill Command punches above its low-budget weight thanks to its smart visuals and intriguing plot, even if it does owe a significant debt in style and storytelling to the likes of RoboCop and Terminator. Go to Full Review
Carolyn Mauricette Cinema Axis 05/16/2019
Despite its straightforward sci-fi narrative, and being made on a miniscule budget, Kill Command is still able to pack in a ton of great effects and tell an overall entertaining story. Go to Full Review

The plot is basically that of Walter Hill's Southern Comfort, but with robots instead of rednecks (something I never knew I wanted until I saw Kill Command) and a healthy dash of the Alien franchise thrown in for good measure. Go to Full Review

Troy R Jul 7 Totally watchable action movie about AI robots fighting soldiers. Besides that its kind of just average. Story isnt very complex and the dialog is.. ok. See more John S Apr 28 To ARNI S who rated this movie half a star and said people who like this movie have no taste and are boring, just remember you gave the electric state 5 stars... you are delusional and have never seen a good story. For anyone thinking about seeing this movie just know it's story is damn good and interesting, as well as the vfx. if you like suspenseful and action pact movies then trust me when i say this movie will have you wishing they made a second one with how they ended it on a cliffhanger. See more Dan D Feb 10 Another movie in the vain of The Terminator. Man creates a self-learning program that takes its study, learn, reprogram mandate seriously and puts it in mobile weapons of war. Of course it's safe, right? What could go wrong....oh, yeah...duh. This is a good movie, worth seeing. But it's not moving the needle in the man vs AI genre. See more JOSHUA D 08/30/2024 Definitely a very good movie. If you are in to Sci-fi movies you should give this one a look, and a blind buy if you are in to home theater too. Visually nice, strong visual effects and the sound design will put a workout on your system. The plot is basic but is a very good one, acting is strong and pacing is very well balanced. See more Jean-Michel C 05/19/2023 Kill command is just perfect, and if you want to get scared of AI this is the movie to watch. All actors do an outstanding job with a special mention to Vanessa Kirby who already shows the stuff she's made of. See more john p 09/30/2022 I like sci-fi. I like action movies. I like war movies. I like cerebral movies. I had hoped this flick would have it all. Sadly, the plot was mediocre as well as the strained acting. It was sort of sci-fi with rebel robots and enhanced humans — but that didn't save it for me. I actually drifted off asleep a couple times. The idea of robots going haywire and killing people has been done to death. No pun intended. The ending was sort of disturbing but not really clear as to whether or not the rebel robots had downloaded their digital poison into the enhanced human. Hmm… What did surprise me was this — I watch movies loud enough for the subwoofer to get a work out. But this movie's gunfire and robot gun cannons were so loud it shook the whole den. I literally jumped — never hearing such loud reports of weaponry until this movie. At least that aspect was very well done. Even watching this for free — I felt I had totally wasted my time seeing what would finally pan out for our soldiers trapped on unknown exercises on a mystery island. See more Read all reviews
