      harry r Actors lost in a world of a poorly written script. The first few minutes of the story give you and indication of how badly this movie is truly written. One numbskull decides it is better to go and find the front half of the plane due to it having a radio. Before getting there they run into their first sign that things are not as they seem and they continue onward. Any sensible person would have turned around. When they get the the front half of the plane they are dismayed to find that the black box is not in the cockpit. Of course it is, black boxes are kept in the tail of the plane and that is where you came from. It goes from this awful start to an ever increasing pit of nonsense. I suppose they realize how bad the movie is and decide to get Bruce Boxleitner who admittedly has made some bad movies before Babylon 5. None were as bad as this. He grew into a very good actor up until Babylon 5. He brings a strong presence that the younger actors cannot match. They also have Steve Railsback who was stereotyped for a very strong presence in another movie in the 70's. He is the only one that can match Bruce in this movie. The whole logic of the movie is insane and none of it is enjoyable. Even the one moment where we get free boobies is disappointing and does not fit in the movie. I suffered through this movie hoping that there would be something that would tie this mess together. Nope, nada, nothing could save it. Don't bother watching it. The film tries to be a rip off of King Kong while being an adaption of The Lost World, in the end it doesn't succeed with anything. The characters are horrible, the CGI is awful, and the ending is boring. The natives have some of the finest looking hair I've seen in any jungle film.
