Audience Member This movie received much hype when it came out, a rare thing for a Croatian movie (when one comes out at least). It even made me want to go see it in a cinema - now I'm glad I didn't. The movie is boring and depressive. The characters are either (mentally) fools or just screwed up so that you cannot feel anything for them other than pity. There are three main concurring storylines and of the three, one has no connection to the other two other than the setting. The scenery is wonderfully filmed, it really gives Lika scenery the respect it deserves. The acting is very good, but like I said, it's hard to connect to the characters - Ivo Gregurević plays the most awful parent I've seen in movies for a long time, yet there is no coherent explanation for his actions, behaviour or reasoning. He is just a bad father torturing his family. The movie has a 'no way out' ending, other than one side character who has finally seen reason and chooses to move, in hopes of a better life. For others, the life of misery just continues as usual... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Kung Fu Tesla is the best!
