Kristen Lopez Culturess There's life in the old ape yet, but he sinks like the Titanic. Nov 20, 2017 Full Review K. Austin Collins The Ringer Kong: Skull Island isn't a B-movie - but with its intentionally bad writing and jarring lack of cohesion, it lamely pretends to be one. Aug 10, 2017 Full Review Angie Han Mashable The humans, meanwhile, are largely left to stare in awe. Jun 5, 2017 Full Review Josh Larsen LarsenOnFilm ...gives good Kong. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 15, 2024 Full Review Manuel São Bento MSB Reviews More action sequences (visible and in daylight), more monsters, and a visually stunning Kong. However, most of the runtime stills belong to the humans who, unfortunately, are nowhere near to being as compelling as in the previous film. Rated: C+ Jul 24, 2023 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies It’s a well made, fast-paced monster movie with far more craft behind its presentation and storytelling than you would expect. Aadvik U it is good because it pays accuracy because kong is brown but it is more accurate then the 2005 king kong more accurate to the 1933 film Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/25/25 Full Review nick s A string of action scenes cobbled together by scraps of story. Every moment felt hamfisted and just an excuse to get to the eye candy. The candy itself was excessive and cartoonish. I guess for the actors this was just another paycheck. Put it on the CGI junk pile. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/16/25 Full Review Vincent W As a hardcore Godzilla fan, I prefer this over “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/21/25 Full Review Jorge R Aside from The New Empire, Kong Skull Island is my second favorite from the Monsterverse, underrated movie!🍿 🦍 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/08/25 Full Review Chris C.
