Kong: Skull Island isn't a B-movie - but with its intentionally bad writing and jarring lack of cohesion, it lamely pretends to be one. Go to Full Review

More action sequences (visible and in daylight), more monsters, and a visually stunning Kong. However, most of the runtime stills belong to the humans who, unfortunately, are nowhere near to being as compelling as in the previous film. Go to Full Review

Andrew B @ABdestroyer233 1d Some great action and a good way to start the monster verse. See more Logan G. @SequelsArentAlwaysBad12 Dec 7 Kong: Skull Island has some good action, and actors, but barely any character development for the human characters make this a decent, but not great movie. See more Aadvik U @aadvik1205 Oct 25 it is good because it pays accuracy because kong is brown but it is more accurate then the 2005 king kong more accurate to the 1933 film See more nick s @Nick_S Oct 16 A string of action scenes cobbled together by scraps of story. Every moment felt hamfisted and just an excuse to get to the eye candy. The candy itself was excessive and cartoonish. I guess for the actors this was just another paycheck. Put it on the CGI junk pile.
