04/05/2010 Nobody needs this movie. No drug addict, no drug dealer, no LA suburb kiddie, or mom, or dad... just no one. Even if you are in the mood for an average drug movie you still will be disappointed... This is a NO GO movie! See more 02/08/2010 I found out about this film on IMDB and I thought it looked interesting. I usually like indie films so I figured why not give it a try. Kush is a drug related action film that is full of suspense. The actors were extremely good looking and big names are in the film like James Duval who starred in "Independence Day" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds". He did a great job acting and added appeal to the cast line up. "Kush" is definitely an edgy indie film that 18 to 35 year old males/females will totally dig. Check it out asap, I think you can rent it on Netflix and Redbox. Enjoy! See more 02/08/2010 My friend recently told me about this awesome indie flick that I must check out, so naturally, I did. "Kush" is a drug related film similar to flicks like "Friday", "Alpha Dogs", "Half Baked", basically "Mary Jane" related. The plot was suspenseful and definitely stayed interesting throughout the film. I was suprised to see James Duval who starred in "Independence Day" and "Gone in Sixty Seconds" on the cast list. It is always a plus to see a big name actor in an indie film. I think this movie is worth a peak especially if you love action and good looking actors. See more 02/08/2010 This indie film is awesome! It shares a similar plot line with "Alpha Dogs" starring Justin Timberlake. "Kush" also has hot actors which is definitely a plus. The plot was interesting and kept my attention throughout the entire length of the film(which most indie films do not)never seeming to have a dull moment. The acting was performed well and I forgot to mention James Duval who was in "Gone in Sixty Seconds" and Independence Day" stars in this film. I highly recommend watching Kush, its a well crafted indie flick. I like to watch movies where the theme involves everyday situations, and action at the same time. Kush, in my opinion, is one of the movies that would get you a little closer to what a real world of a drug dealer is. And how with a slight mistake, can put his life on risk, and even all the money that he can get, won’t be enough to stop his family, and friends to be destroyed. See more 11/18/2009 If you enjoyed "Alpha Dog", then you should definitely check out "Kush". This film generally is about really hot guys trying to push drugs to make a quick buck. The acting is pretty decent with big name actors such as James Duval, who was in "Gone in Sixty Seconds" and "Independence Day". Overall, I think this is an awesome independent flick that more people need to know about. Pick it up on DVD or check your local On Demand station to see if it is available.
