I read the novel first, and I'm amazed by that... But with the movie, I'm just get a little disappointed... The acting from the stars didn't grow well, just Sophan Sophiaan and Widyawati acting that amazed me... The others just show a standard, yet an under performance in this movie.. Fauzi Baadila is too 'kaku', yet Acha Septriasa's act didn't show that she is Sundanese... She didn't have the accent of Sundanese, yet her acting just standard... I can't deny the fact that she's the weakest star in this movie... Surya Saputra, Wulan Guritno, and Luna Maya act just standard, it can be improved... Irwansyah, Laudya Chintya Bella, and Darius Sinarthya act was a little below the standard... Luckily, they have a great song, 'Sempurna by Gita Gutawa' is a great and perfect song for this movie... Overall, the novel is better than the movie, but it's a pleasure to see how it can be realized into a movie...

It all started up just like any other Indonesia movie . Boring isn't it ?
Everything were so overwhelmed at the beginning , the simple stories with the soothing and calming Erwin Gutawa's score and of course the countless repetition from his daughter's song , <i>Sempurna</i> by Gita Gutawa .
With such a flowy-flowy poetic words , the movie only effected amateurs to cry . Everything just ended up with tragedies and tears and those tragedies(take a look at RESTU (IRWANSYAH) & DINDA (LAUDYA CYNTHIA BELLA's story) sometimes seemed so lame and cliche and absolutely wierdo romantic comedy laughter from Tere-Awin(Luna Maya-Darius S.)'s story .
And super-fugly love story with comedic touch from Acha Setriapsa and Fauzi Baadila .
But , <i>Love</i> inserted serious love story in Surya Saputra and Wulan Guritno's and the lame-less realistic love story of Alzhemier-patient played by the R.I.P. Sophan Sophian with his mate(and true wife) Widyawati .
The best actor , i would say <b>Sophan Sophian</b> , too bad he's dead already ,with Widyawati ,he made a great chemistry , like anyone else ever do in Indonesia .
But, there was little compliment to Kabir Bhatia , <i>Love</i> showed us varieties of people to survive their love life .
From , college students love story , married couple's , low-class people's , the writers's and single older people's and dramatic cinematography .

Boring. Yes, this movie is quite boring. Very typical and disappoint me. First I though that this movie is a good one, and worth to be named as Indonesia's Love Actually, but I'm totally wrong! This movie, is very2 lame and full of bulllshits.

Yeah the cast, from all of the name above, I'll pick Sophan Sophiaan as the best performer (may he rest in peace), and Widyawati as his mate. And for the worst? Fauzi Badillah! Well, even though he's funny (in TV shows), but he couldn't act at all! His, is one of the worst act I ever seen!
<br><br>
There's 5 story, story of an alzheimer teacher and a woman who care for him (Sophan Sophiaan and Widyawati), story of a family (Surya Saputra and Wulan Guritno's), story of 2 writers, the famous one and a writers who work in books rental (Darius and Luna Maya's), story of two people who met at bus stop (Bella and Irwansyah's) and story of a girl who want to meet his friend in Jakarta ( Acha and Fauzi Badillah's). From all of that, I pick Sophan's story as the best of the rest.

The score, this is the best thing in this movie. Composed by Erwin Gutawa and the soundtrack, so sweet, sung by her own daughter, Gita Gutawa. okay, now the cinematography, frankly, I don't like it, and the quotes, most of them are typical and cliche.

Well, love, nothings perfect, but love. Oh yeah, this movie is FAR from Perfect. Not even a good one.

But I really love Sophan Sophiaan's and Surya Saputra's the best. Great soundtrack, soothing and very peaceful (search : <I>Sempurna-Gita Gutawa</I>). Different lives, different stories, sharing the same affection. You may search the whole universe and never find anything more beautiful than <U>LOVE</U> it is.
