Jason S Very good story line and good plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Siewyen L This is a great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review hamid reza g The film's emphasis at the very beginning on the reality of all the events of the film is both its strength and its weakness. The film is based on the memories of a man who escapes from the camp as a child and survives. The subject of the film is not a new subject, but the film's look at this historical fact is the strength of the film. The film deals with children at that time. And in this sense, it is original. But the weak point of the film is that the director treats this issue emotionally and the film cannot meet the expectations due to its cinematic structure. In fact, the emotionalism of the film limits the cinematic structure, and this has made the melodrama format the best option for the film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/23 Full Review Ellen M If you want to find out how the French were complicit in the Holocaust, watch this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Holocaust victims and survivors are clearly defined in this movie of what happened to some humans that were called vermin/parasites by the ruling class in France while Hitler was giving orders from Germany with his followers who also benefited by the deaths of Jews. I let my grandkids watch this movie to see what happens to humans that are vilified for the profit and power of others who are in power. Be careful you could be next Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Affecting pulling at heartstrings even with the expected known outcomes; good performances across the board with difficult material Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Drew Hunt Chicago Reader Director Rose Bosch's intentions seem genuine, but her dramatizations frequently undermine the horrific real-life events on which they're based. Jun 12, 2014 Full Review Joel Arnold NPR It's a mainstream, sentimental drama because it needs to be. It announces in a clear voice that this happened. Nov 20, 2012 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times A well-meaning but inexpertly dramatized account of the roundup of 13,000 Parisian Jews in the summer of 1942. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 15, 2012 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies “The Round Up” is a pretty polished film, but its also reverent, sober, and responsible. Rated: 4.5/5 Aug 22, 2022 Full Review Hannah Brown Jerusalem Post A viewer who knew nothing of the true events of World War II would think there was a guardian angel that looked out for sweet young children. If you find that proposition more than a little infuriating, then you'd be wise to skip this film. Mar 21, 2016 Full Review Mark Zhuravsky The Playlist A somber, flat, occasionally moving reminder of one of France's darkest moments Rated: B- Mar 14, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
