Very original story about a group of people who are loosely connected with sleaze being the underlying theme.
The characters include the charming, but dishonest pimp. The girl he lures into the adult film world. The mature porn actress who is hiding a secret at home. The chubby fetish girl.
It's all very surreal and quite amusing in places. Definitely not as heavy as you might think from the subject matter. Actually quite kitschy.
The time went very fast watching this one. Honestly didn't know what to expect next.

I don't think this'll be a particularly long review as I didn't really think much of this movie. Personally I thought the film's biggest problem was its uneven tone. At first the movie is pretty much a sex comedy. Then, about halfway through, it becomes a drama. It was pretty jarring because, while the comedy wasn't great, it had some funny moments here and there. And then they just switch it up to a drama, for no real reason whatsoever. Because the movie looks at 6 characters, none of them really are really that engaging for a viewer to get emotionally invested in their stories. That's a problem, because that's the only reason you'd make the switch to drama. You want people, somehow, to care for these characters. This is especially tough when you've not given us a reason to do so already. There's a good idea here because the characters are lonely and sex is a way to connect with another human being. But the movie doesn't really do anything with this theme. I think the movie needed about as half as many characters as it had. And it also needed to have better developed characters, so you could at least care about them. It has some funny moments, but overall this movie completely misses the mark. It's not a good sex comedy nor is it a good drama.

This film isn't insipid and puerile,nor is it vapid and misogynistic. It's funny,moving,creative and compelling. It's really well written (by the guy who wrote Kamikaze Girls and Confessions) and there's some great performances in it. If you're thinking of watching this give it a go and don't be put off by reviewers who are incapable of looking past the fact that it's set in the sex industry and seeing what it's actually about.

Not sure what movie all the critics have seen, but this is not a sex comedy, basically due to lack of sex and/or comedy. There a weird, and occasionally almost funny, interrelated stories, about deceit, delusion, loneliness, and the whole crappy human existence, if you will, and it's really all quite sad, but not in a very obvious way. It certainly puts you off porn. Quite watchable, if not perfect. And yes, there really is a talking penis.

Una commedia stranissima che, pur con il difetto di provare ad essere un po' troppe cose insieme, dopo un inizio piuttosto leggero diventa riflessiva ed a tratti disturbante. Davvero non credo che in Occidente si possa girare un film così, sembra una sciocchezza in cui la parte da leoni la fanno piselli di peluche e pazzi col vestito da super-eroe, ma si propone poi come una riflessione molto amara sulla vita, sessuale e non. Non è riuscito a fare centro fino in fondo con me e mi ha spesso lasciato un po' troppo freddo, però è un film interessante.
