Audience Member beautifully shot about a group of young children in the care centre! a movie about how culture - values,beliefs... is transmitted to the next generation (historically specific) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member O dia-a-dia de uma criança que vai estudar numa escola, mas não consegue seguir as regras. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Beijing, China, 1949. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member The childrens are quite adorable. The story is mix with some hard to understand parts. A young boy is sent to the kindergarden because the granny is returning home, the parents are working far away. He is taken care by the granny since birth. He cry for the first few days. In the school, the kids are taught by 2 teachers and care by 2 assistances. They were taught to dress themself, poop in the morning, wash hands and go toilet before meals, be obedient. Done well and the child will be rewarded with a little red flower, and vice versa. He seems to take a liking for a girl who sleep just beside him. She is avoided by other kid during play time just like him. So they play together and he pretend injection to her butt, took down her underwear and the teacher saw it and scolded them both. The boy will sneak out during sleeping time to pee outside. He stop wetting his bed. During a music class, somebody kept farting and they and the girl is brought to the toilet. The other childrens are playing and they sneak outdoors to play on their own. At another class, the teacher imitates an animal to let them guess. The boy spread rumours that teacher is a child eating monster. While the teacher is asleep, the childrens tie their shoelaces together and want to tie her up but she wake up. One of the girl cries and say the teacher is a monster and she point out another boy as the rumormonger. For unknown reason, the boy start to become a bully and with a few boys keep picking on others. He refuse to apologise for an incident and was put into the confinement room. He is afraid and cried. Then he is to be ignored and isolated from other childrens. After a few days the curfew is lifted. The 1st day he joins back he disobey order again and run away on his own and sleep outdoors at night. I don't understand what is going on as the ending is really weird and mystery. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
