Daij S GLEN PLUMMER IS A HORRIBLE ACTOR TO CAST AS A FATHER. Honestly i like low budget movies sometimes and had he not been in the movie i think i would’ve enjoyed it alot more. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/24 Full Review Thomas M This movie is actually fantastic. It's like a bottle episode for the end of the world. I highly recommend. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/19/24 Full Review Alexandra m I think this is the worst movie I ever watched. At first I really wanted to give it a shot. But it just started pilling up, to the shitty SFX to the acting I just busted out laughing. I can see now 10k really don’t go far for a budget. But I’m not mad still had a good laugh. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Dee S We love low budget movies if they can deliver. This movie was too patchy. We had to pay too much attention to every single word and even replay scenes to figure out what they wanted us to take from it. They made me hate the main character/father, and at the end I guess it was because he most have hated himself. Pros - (1) there was enough of a story to keep us engaged, (2) the little kid was fantastic, (3) the actor playing the main character/dad must be fantastic as well because he made me hate him., and (4) the concept of the movie was crazy original, just not well executed. Cons - (1) too much drama in 90 minutes (the countdown) when people would not fall apart that quickly - nowhere close to realistic; (2) I am fine with low budget, but that same cheesy outside scene with fires and greens and yellows made it look NO budget. There are free graphics available that are better than that. (3) People doing dumb stuff for no reason - why would one of the upside down question mark people break into their house? It made ZERO sense. (4) Script was awful. (5) Nobody ate the ribs and cornbread! This could have been a great movie with a complete re-write of the script and some $$. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I love low-budget movies, so when Amazon Video showed me this video I could not resist. Pros: 1) Audio is good, not great but better than other low-budget films. 2) The use of blues, greens, pink, and purples is used in a solid way. 3) No shacky cam 4) Ending made me laugh Cons: 1) The script is weak and feels cheesy 2) characters feel 1 dimensional and flat. 3) The stock music and sound effects really took away from some parts of the movie (Marco's speech at 0:36:43) 4) Heavy-handed with symbolism in "deep meaning" dialogue. All in all this movie was interesting. If it played down the use of metaphysical dialogue and constant background music, this would have made for a good movie. You can tell that there is heart and soul in this movie but they tried to do t much. The best part of the movie, was the scenes with Glenn Plummer and Marcus T. Pault Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
