Jelisije J A surprisingly decent tv movie with a good plot, but with little to no budget. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/04/23 Full Review Shane R Shockingly bad. Just one of the most horrible movies I have watched. No character development, horrible script, horrible sfx, just all around bad. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/21/23 Full Review Jacob F Let's be honest the movie is more of a random action/sci-fi flick. The action part being that archaeologists have to fight against the last aztec people. And then the sci-fi part is that the aztec thunder god looks like one of the gargoyles from the hunch back of Notre Dame. The monster is low quality cgi, no one in this cast is like able, and most of the acting sub par at best. If you want a good movie, look somewhere else. If you want a movie to mock, then this flick is for you. Why the one star rating??? They put SOME effort into this film. The costumes are alright, some of the scenes are quite bloody, and they probably did their best because this film took 19 days to make (#why even bother). But this is a typical action movie that would never be mentioned at all and probably left to rot on a shelf at good will. That's why no one on rotten tomatoes has reviewed it. 😂 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Not even gonna bother with a write up rubbish. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Joyless, low budget dog of a movie. Don't have a clue what Michael Shanks thought he was doing, but it wasn't acting Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review harry r I think the 2 star rating expresses it well, it passed the time. Michael Shanks reprises his role as an artifact scientist, JR Bourne is a good costar, and Shannon Doherty as the caring daughter, all three could not save this movie. Heather Doerksen seemed to have a part that was supposed to be sexier than Shannon's but wasn't. She played her conniving personality too well. The mix did not play well. Had this been a SCG movie, maybe. I think more than the actors the script was at fault. It had too many moments where the plot did not know where it wanted to go and placed something inappropriate into the story to blend from one scene to another. The actors could not save this script.
