Vera A First of all I love B rated movies this wasn't even rate-able. It started to hurt my head a 1/2 hour into this movie. Not sure if it was due to the poor acting that almost seemed dubbed over! and those so called cheesy special effects.......pretty sure my 4 year old Grandson could of done better. No no it's to late ...then you see a big what I think is a dust bomb ......that made me laugh Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie is unwatchable, bad special effects, can't tell if it is trying to be like sharknado or if it is taking itself seriously. it doesn't work on any level. unwatchable. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I own this on DVD in a five movie pack along with: * AVH: Alien vs. Hunter (2007) * Lava Storm (2008) * Nuclear Hurricane (2010) * Solar Destruction aka Solar Flare (2008) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member As seen on UniMás (& Syfy), this film covers the usual plot basics & under-developed cast of a disaster movie. But the CGI in this particular film is lame & laughable, featuring non-graphic lava deaths that's acceptable for 3rd graders to watch (& they'd be LOL, likely). The special effects, such as a volcano in Yellowstone, look less authentic than any PhotoShopped nudity on your favorite "chaste" celebrity. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Goofy fun, worth a look if you like low-budget diaster movies. As dumb and as far-fetched as this one is, it is very entertaining, never too slow or boring. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This was Crap with a capital C - the special effects were pathetic, I wonder if it was done on a PC with some basic home video editing software lol... This was Hollywood at its best at being corny, way over the top for how world wide geology works - example, they blow up underwater volcanoes in the middle of the oceans and immediately lava from volcanoes in Yellowstone National Park stops then everyone dances with joy... oh please... Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com If you rent these flicks for the goofiness, this one's worthy of a rental. If you're renting them for fresh ideas or high-quality filmmaking, you're plain old nutty. Rated: 2/5 Dec 8, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
