Victor I I suppose this film might have been scary if I was a mermaid that had never seen nor heard of a human before. I suppose it could have been purposefully entertaining past the amusement I found in how deep my confusion could go, if I was a strange doctor with a violently psychosexual attraction to mermaids. If it was actually written to be funny I would have given it a solid 3. Decent performances by actors instructed to have their characters do and say the most inexplicable things.
