Audience Member (**): Thumbs Down Not a great film but fans of the series might like it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Passible 3rd sequel is better then 3 but thats not saying much. A teenager loses her b/f and she goes to a party where the cursed mirror is left over from part 3 and herself and 4 other are dragged into the mirror after it decides to choose them. The mirror kills them one by one in boring and unconvincing ways. Mostly horrible acting apart from Billy Drago who still acts like he is Barbos from Charmed and comes off best. The direction had a neat premise inviting them into the mirror but does very little with it. Cmon its the demons world so why is it just a more boring refection of the other. Apart from one neat scene with maggots the deaths are boring and nearly bloodless for this type of film. A terrible ending wraps it up. 2 stars as it had a decent premise and I hope part 5 if they ever make it will be better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The Mirror, Mirror series just seems to keep getting worse and worse with each installment. While the first film was an intelligent and well made film, the sequels have been nothing but thoughtless trash, not worthy of even late night TV play. With this newest, and hopefully, last, sequel, logic and plot play no significance in the overlong and boring scheme of things. P.J. Soles makes a brief cameo and does a pretty solid job. She's the only capable acotr in the piece and it's too bad she doesn't show up for more. The restof the cast only helped ease my way into snoresville with their unexciting delivery of stilted dialouge. This sequel was so bad that the filmmakers left it unreleased for three years until it was put in Anchor Bay's Mirror Mirror Collection on DVD. Word of advice, don't shell out for the box set. It might be very cheap and look cool, but after you see parts 2, 3, and 4 you won't even want them taking up shelf space. Save some money, space, and brain cells and just pick up a copy of the original, the only good film in the series. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
