Tom Cassidy Common Sense Media Undemanding but not unsatisfying, its story of a seemingly haunted bookshop is easy to settle into and deliberately obvious clues are dropped along the way. Rated: 3/5 May 3, 2023 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee The case itself is nothing special, but it features enough twists to keep viewers on their toes, and Cox and Grammer make for a fine detective duo. Koi P Enjoyable watch. Fun mystery. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/21/24 Full Review Kam P The British settings with fancy mansions and the usual aristocratic stereotypes are quite pleasant to watch. However it is an average imitation of a Miss Marple movie without any significant twists and turns. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/03/24 Full Review Mark B PG rated British mystery. Comforting watch. Not going to break any ground a watch for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Perfectly enjoyable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/13/24 Full Review Barbara A I love cozies, any cozies and this move, while self consciously A COZY, is entertaining and very watchable. Sort of Nancy Drewish in attitude and pretty predictable but good cast, shots of village streets and countryside and manor houses. What more do you need for 90 minutes of diversion? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/04/24 Full Review Laura M Incredibly poorly written. It's a shame because it's a really good cast. I have no clue how they took a very simple yet madly overused plot and made it even worse with an incredibly inane overworked storyline? Are the writers all first gen AI? Sad these talents ended up in an inane and completely unbelievable story. Such incredibly stupid writing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/24 Full Review J L S Some nice twists and turns Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Read all reviews
