The movie was so bad that I actually went through the trouble of registering here just to leave this review. The script is a complete disaster—there isn’t even a coherent setting. The time period is unclear, the characters and their relationships are utterly incomprehensible, and as for the mysterious elements… don’t even get me started. At one point, I honestly thought I had accidentally started watching a TV series from the middle of an episode. The filmmakers simply dumped an unpolished, underdeveloped concept onto the audience (it doesn’t even qualify as a story) and assumed that the actors and a British backdrop would somehow make up for it. An absolutely shameful film.

The British settings with fancy mansions and the usual aristocratic stereotypes are quite pleasant to watch. However it is an average imitation of a Miss Marple movie without any significant twists and turns.

I love cozies, any cozies and this move, while self consciously A COZY, is entertaining and very watchable. Sort of Nancy Drewish in attitude and pretty predictable but good cast, shots of village streets and countryside and manor houses. What more do you need for 90 minutes of diversion?
