Undemanding but not unsatisfying, its story of a seemingly haunted bookshop is easy to settle into and deliberately obvious clues are dropped along the way. Go to Full Review

The case itself is nothing special, but it features enough twists to keep viewers on their toes, and Cox and Grammer make for a fine detective duo. Go to Full Review

Wes S Nov 8 Literally a time-waster. If you have anything better to do, go do it. If not settle in for a non-mystery that's been done so many times before. Other than Kelsey Grammer the acting is tolerable. He's just Dr. Crane in a different setting. The visuals are pretty good if you like looking at luxury estates and landscapes so that's a plus. My biggest problem with this movie is that there is no one to care about. I don't actually care if they find the answer to the riddle or not, or who gets bumped off along the way. See more Mar 1 I loved this movie! Good for a family night and popcorn 😍 See more Dasha H Feb 21 The movie was so bad that I actually went through the trouble of registering here just to leave this review. The script is a complete disaster—there isn’t even a coherent setting. The time period is unclear, the characters and their relationships are utterly incomprehensible, and as for the mysterious elements… don’t even get me started. At one point, I honestly thought I had accidentally started watching a TV series from the middle of an episode. The filmmakers simply dumped an unpolished, underdeveloped concept onto the audience (it doesn’t even qualify as a story) and assumed that the actors and a British backdrop would somehow make up for it. An absolutely shameful film. See more Koi P @hopep 09/21/2024 Enjoyable watch. Fun mystery. See more Kam P 09/03/2024 The British settings with fancy mansions and the usual aristocratic stereotypes are quite pleasant to watch. However it is an average imitation of a Miss Marple movie without any significant twists and turns. See more Mark B 08/13/2024 PG rated British mystery. Comforting watch. Not going to break any ground a watch for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Perfectly enjoyable. See more Read all reviews
