Director J.J. Abrams does a nice job making Cruise look heroic...without making it look like a fashion shoot -although, there are times when it's tough to tell- and he even has enough confidence to offer some quiet moments to push some emotional content.

Mission: Impossible III follows Ethan Hunt as he is pulled back into the world of espionage after trying to live a quieter life with the woman he loves. When an extremely dangerous arms dealer named Owen Davian kidnaps one of Ethan’s protégés, he is forced into a high-stakes mission that rapidly escalates into a personal battle involving his own wife. The film unravels with secrets, betrayals, and the constant fear that Ethan may not be able to protect the people he cares about most. This movie is full of twists, turns, and thrilling action that never lets up. It’s my favorite of the Mission: Impossible series and perhaps the best. The story is exciting and doesn’t slow down or lose you at any point. Tom Cruise’s intensity and emotion are pushed to the absolute max here, making every moment feel crucial. The supporting cast is also phenomenal. Philip Seymour Hoffman delivers one of the most chilling villains in the franchise with his calm but deadly presence. Billy Crudup is perfectly cast in a role that adds even more complexity and suspense to the plot. The team dynamic shines, the action sequences are top tier, and the stakes feel higher than ever. From start to finish, Mission: Impossible III is a gripping and hugely entertaining ride that stands tall as one of the best action thrillers out there. 84/100

My absolute favourite in the mission impossible series. Love it. Actors are brilliant I liked the story. It’s a nostalgic watch for me as I was Tom cruise obsessed as a teen and this was one of the first movies I saw of his in the movies.
