Kevin R Most personal mission Impossible movie. Arguably the greatest. Its sequel is made possible because of this one. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Ben N While MI:1 set the tone (let's forget MI:2, please), this movie fleshed out what a Mission Impossible film is... fast - flashy. Lots of great gear and awesome set pieces. A plot that is twisted, but understandable. Over the top stunts. Let's face it - the fights and shootouts are ridiculous. But it's just block-buster fun, and the actors are great! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/08/24 Full Review Alec B While I am not opposed to Hunt getting some character development, there's nothing here we didn't already get in the second one. Yeah, Hoffman is a compelling villain (probably the most memorable of the series) and sequences like the bridge attack are great but the ending is just a fizzle. Also while Abrams is probably correct that it doesn't matter what the MacGuffin is, it does have to be something. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/24 Full Review Adi 1 Mission impossible 3 is one of the best films in the entire franchise. It has a good story, great action, a compelling villain, and most of all it started the hot streak of MI films which continues to this day. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Sue B This is one of the best Mission Impossible movies. Keri Russell's performance -- amazing. She did more in her 5 minutes than anyone else. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Jens B 🫨🫨🫨 The first 97 minutes of this two hour film I didn't care. Why? Because the opening of the film shows what will happen in the finale. Why would you do this?! Oh, Alex Kurtzman wrote this, I see.. 🫨🫨🫨 Other than that Hoffman and the action set pieces are good, if you can see them, thanks, Mr. Abrams! 🫨🫨🫨 Didn't care for the twists and turns because they're either a copy of M:I 1 or any other blockbuster that came before. Have I mentioned that Kurtzman wrote this? 🫨🫨🫨 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Wendy Ide Times (UK) Indistinguishable but for one vital element: Philip Seymour Hoffman. Sep 12, 2022 Full Review David Ansen Newsweek ...this snappy installment is a marked improvement over John Woo's surprisingly dull sequel, though the set pieces lack the elegance and visual coherence of the Brian de Palma original. Nov 1, 2007 Full Review Ben Walters Time Out There are plentiful perilous countdowns, most of the set-pieces are impressively mounted and, in its own silly way, the pay-off offers a glancing blow at US foreign policy. Relatable? No. But quite fun. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review What I admire about and why I enjoy returning to Abrams’ sequel is the momentum and emotional immediacy of the plot. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 6, 2023 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Regardless of the minutes eaten up by littler details (and the illogicality of the geography jumps and the convenient gadgets), the focus on nonstop action and suspense is exceptional. Rated: 8/10 Aug 29, 2022 Full Review Sergio Benítez Espinof 'Mission: Impossible III' is a 100% J.J. Abrams film with all the (very) positive and the (little) negative that this implies, of course.
