Victor O A moment of inspiration has led me to look into Sarah Carter’s filmography, and this movie caught my attention. When it comes to anything labeled National Lampoon’s, you don’t question it, you know what to expect and while not my favored choice of films, if you enjoy the occasional immature joke then it will be time well spent. Gloria and several other members of Florida’s South Beach University get themselves involved in the comings and goings of college life when their dormitories undergo a forced renovation that has them desperately looking for a new place to live. All this as Victoria, the president of a popular sorority is desperate to land a popular magazine’s prize but she needs a more diverse group of students in her sorority, but she wants to recruit them and then dump them as quickly as possible but Gloria has no love for the bullying that comes from the initiation, but in time its all about getting even with Victoria as several hijinks are pulled as only National Lampoon’s can bring. This was nasty, silly, ridiculous comedy that is the staple of all National Lampoon’s films. I got what I thought I was getting and happy to add another notch towards some of my favorite actresses in their filmographies. Still, I wish for something comedy on the level of other great National Lampoon’s movies with Chevy Chase years and Ryan Reynolds. This was a pile of rust added to the gold, not even Paris Hilton’s iconic status in the early 2000s could polish this.
