O'Dessa (2025) There's a lot of good music, but it has a really bad history. It's no use having a good protagonist and beautiful songs if you have a terrible script like this movie has.

I've seen others write that there is some originality in the story or characters. Don't be misled as it's completely derivative of hundreds of "chosen one" stories that came before it. Only this one has poorer writing than most, is completely predictable, and lacks any memorable music. There's not a single song you'll long to hear again. The lead actress does have a great voice, so I hope she finds another vehicle to show case it. There are so many better options to watch that will either move you or leave you thinking. This just left me thinking what could I have watched instead and why was it made.
