delysid d whats with the low rating here folks? this movie was really special Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/22/21 Full Review Audience Member Funny western movie, with nice characters in action. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Sprightly western thanks to the engaged performances from the three leads, Diana Muldaur, George Peppard and John Vernon. Their more knowing and familiar interplay gives a kick to the ordinary script. If it had been just a little less violent it could have been a really enjoyable comic western, still a good time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member George Peppard (of Breakfast at Tiffiny fame) stars in this light Western. Always with a long cigar in his mouth, Peppard seems like he is ready to be lead in the A-team of television fame. Here, he is in a tale of revenge set in the 1880's of California. Sent to jail for a train robbery crime he did not commit, Peppard now looks for those of the old gang to get revenge. For 1971 the film was crisp and clear, sharp. You have to tolerate the lightweight beginning to make it to the better parts of the film.
