Patient Zero is void of horror. It struggles to build tension thanks to a predictable plot and lackluster villains, which is as shame considering how the infected were built up to be this menacing force.

In all, I have definitely seen worse movies. Melodrama and over abundance of unnecessary intensity aside, the movie was intense and the twist in the end was not bad. Speaking of, that ending pissed me off.

This quasi-zombie action movie eventually wanders cluelessly off track, but, as it consists mainly of yelling, sudden loud noises, and camera-shaking, it gets aggravating long before that happens.

Do not believe the negativity. This is far from an epic but it's not a bad film at all. It's got its issues namely they didn't make enough of the interactions between Matt Smith & Stanley Tucci and it felt rushed at the end. Like they ran out of ideas. But it's a decent watch. It kept me interested and on balance it's not a bad film really.

Ooooohhhh. I was pleasantly surprised by this zombie film. I liked it a lot (except I thought the very end was frustrating). It has fresh approaches, clever dialogue, good pacing, it's dramatic, at times emotional and funny. I'm surprised by the really bad reviews. It's not the best zombie genre film ever made, but it's definitely one of the better zombie films I've seen (and I've seen A LOT). If you're looking for mainly gore and uber violence, then this is probably not going to work for you. I would watch it again.
