Glenn L @Glenn_1969 1d Underground American base is the last hope for the entire planet? Check! Scientists get harrased by gung-ho military? Check! Inevitable zombie breakouts? Check! Smith is the sole survivor of a bite from a new rabies infection but PLOT TWIST, he can understand what the infected are saying. Smith has sexy time with eye candy English scientist lady while his own wife sits in a cage with other infected erxtras. Stanley Tucci pops up as a new, intelligent infected, complete with murderous intentions. His merry munchers overtake the compound and Mr Smiths wife inexplicably launches herself at a wave of infected to give her husband and his scientist lady, now with child, time to escape. The film is so bad you will feel embarressed watching it. Smith and Hot legs scientist ride away on a motorbike. The End. Don't watch this. I guartentee you Matt Smith wants this forgotten about. This is far from an epic but it's not a bad film at all. It's got its issues namely they didn't make enough of the interactions between Matt Smith & Stanley Tucci and it felt rushed at the end. I was pleasantly surprised by this zombie film. I liked it a lot (except I thought the very end was frustrating). It has fresh approaches, clever dialogue, good pacing, it's dramatic, at times emotional and funny. I'm surprised by the really bad reviews. It's not the best zombie genre film ever made, but it's definitely one of the better zombie films I've seen (and I've seen A LOT). If you're looking for mainly gore and uber violence, then this is probably not going to work for you. I would watch it again. See more Read all reviews
