Charles Hartford But Why Tho? A Geek Community I can honestly say Pets United is one of the worst things I’ve seen this year. It fails at being meaningful. It fails at being funny. And simply tried too hard to tick all the boxes, without delivering any energy or soul into the final product. Jarrod N So awful, I loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Gwyneth M I knew just from the image, this movie would suck. Figure I’d watch it outta curiosity and a laugh and it sure was the worst movie I’ve ever watched. The dialogue felt so ChatGBT. The plot was somewhat interesting but also truly made no sense. And the animation looked horrible. There’s a scene where the main character (the dog with blue eyes) jumps from one building to another and he’s in slow motion while the building falls at normal speed.. Nothing made sense but if you want to laugh at pure stupidity, watch this movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Audience Member If you are thinking of watching this, don’t. The characters are some of the most boring things I have ever seen in a movie, and every action scene played some kind of elevator music instead of action music. I would rather watch a PowerPoint about doorknobs. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Thomas S One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Legitimately hard to watch. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Yugi M I could swear that this movie was written by ChatGPT, or at the very least, aided by some other text generation software. The dialogue feels kind of janky when characters are talking to each other, the cityscape looks pretty boring for a movie set in a technologically advanced society, and the villain plot could make sense…if you don't take the motivations seriously and think of it like a caricature of a cartoonishly evil villain. They eyes of the animal characters freak me out like none other, especially the main blue dog (don't even remember his name), who would oftentimes look like his eyes are made of "cheap glass" if that makes any sense. The pig also kind of has that thousand yard stare going on… The human characters are rather dumb. For instance, while fleeing the city, the owner of the British cat could've just exited the car if she truly wanted to go get her stupid cat, there was literally no cars moving at all. The driving robot even says so itself that it's too heavy of traffic! On a side tangent, characters seem to be introduced in rapid succession, there's not enough time to fully flesh them all out. The eight year olds that I was watching this movie with had to pause every so often to ask me to explain what in the world was happening. If this movie was truly made with good intent, then I'm sorry if I'm coming across as harsh. I just don't understand the creative process here… Is this the worst movie I've ever seen? Maybe…. Was it a waste of my time? Quite possibly…. Am I insane for even leaving a review? Oh, yes. Goodbye, everyone, I'll remember you all in therapy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Nicky V My 7 year old liked the film so I couldn't only give it one star but it was very bad. It felt like it had no real inspiration behind it and things like the musical interludes were just there to tick boxes. So let your kid watch it but don't make the mistake of choosing it for a family film night ! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
