It's pretty clear that it knows how daft it is, yet that somehow doesn't make it funny, which in turn makes me wonder what it is that I'm missing. C.K. himself has apparently denounced "Pootie Tang" as he had zero control over the final cut, but even with that in mind I don't see what would have redeemed it. The jokes are so sparse it's baffling. Come to think of it, it all looks like one big joke, and you may just need to get high to be in on it.
