Audience Member I liked it. Intriguing story. Thought provoking. Made me feel for the characters. Interesting detective work. I like the use of the forensic psychologist and how Rebecca played her. And Hey seeing Hugh Jackman, being swoon worthy even in this early on before I became a fan from his more current rolls, did make this very very nice addition to my movie collection of films he was in. No wonder he made sexiest man of the year list. Oh and only reason for the low rating for me is that the cinematography is not what it is today and is lower budget, but frankly I rather have it that way then seeing the high financed garbage special effects 3D movies with terrible storylines and script, & lousy acting. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Profile of a Serial Killer is the story of a forensic psychologist, along with the local police departmen, trying to piece together the mystery surrounding a mass murder at a gas station, working alongside one of the survivors. For a low-budget production, the movie was quite enjoyable. Hugh did a wonderful job in one of his first movie roles and the suspense throughout kept going. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This reminded me of a made-for-tv-movie in Australia. The credits were awful ... the acting was awful (except for Hugh Jackman and his awesome ass shot) ... and the plot was ridiculous. SPOILER I'm going to reiterate this movie in one sentence. Serial killer goes on rampage because he didn't get change and is investigated by a cougar with daddy issues. This movie is just silly. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Lame, completely limp episode from a 90s Aussie crime series. I believe the only reason this got an American release as a movie is Hugh Jackman's guest role. Apart from Jackman, who comparatively shows great restraint and subtlety, I've seen better performances in beginners acting classes.
