      Audience Member La directora debutante Anne Feinsilber nos ofreció la película más americana del Festival: [i]Requiem for Billy the Kid[/i]. Feinsilber, con una corta carrera en la producción de documentales, se embarcó, cualquiera sabe por qué, en un proyecto sobre Billy el Niño. La excusa interna del documental está a medio camino entre la mística de la leyenda y el hecho de que cierto sheriff bigotudo allá en los EE UU quiere abrir la fosa de Billy para ver si en efecto yace allí enterrado. Como con estas cosas del Salvaje Oeste se mueve mucho turismo, la localidad donde está la tumba se niega en redondo a que le toquen la fosa, no les vayan a desmontar su Desierto de Tabernas particular. Así pues, medio documental se dedica a las grescas entre puebluchos, y el otro medio a la película de Peckinpah sobre el particular, que comenté no hace mucho por cierto (y le di mejor nota que a esta, claro). [img]http://api.mds.att-idns.net/xmlserver/img/017000-017999/E993E214E2159AE7E030A8C0EAC85265.jpg[/img] [i]Esto sí que es Salvaje Oeste.[/i] LADO BUENO: Por suerte para Feinsilber, la voz cantante del documental es la de Kris Kristofferson, gran cantante, no tan gran actor, el Billy de Peckinpah. Kristofferson, ya viejuno, juega al juego de encarnar a un Billy que sobrevivió a su enfrentamiento con Pat Garrett. En otras ocasiones aparece fuera de personaje, como el cantante que es, guitarra en ristre. Entonces es cuando brilla más el documental, la verdad, y también cuando nos meten en la vida de los vaqueros de a pie que, según parece, todavía quedan sueltos por ahí: una colección de Sam Elliots de la vida real. LADO MALO: Hay dos elementos nefastos en el documental, que le quitan poderío a espuertas. Primero, los parlamentos alucinatorios sobre la búsqueda del Billy mítico, que están mal escritos y peor recitados. Segundo, las reconstrucciones con los bigotudos de hoy, que golpean la vista con la fuerza de siete mil programas de Antena 3. EN TRES (3) PALABRAS: Aceptable documental vaquero.
