The Return Of Swamp Thing is a humorous and oddly sweet action adventure that wants nothing more than to entertain you with its quirkiness from start to finish Go to Full Review

Yes, it's a story as corny and clichd as they come, but that's part of the picture's charm. Go to Full Review

This sequel, coming as it did after Alan Moore's critically acclaimed, award-winning run on the comic, looked really sad. Go to Full Review

Tyler S @tylerking24 Jul 22 Don't think it's as great as the first one, but they are pretty close. I definitely enjoyed the look of Swamp Thing in this film more, but the story felt more lackluster. Kinda wish they went another direction with the character, and I also wish he was a bit more gritty and scary like the first one. He had the looks to be, but not the actions. See more Nick O Jun 12 Makes the first one look like Shakespeare! More slime, more monsters and more camp. That’s why Wynorski’s the sequel king! See more Mar 31 Unintentionally funny. Kitsch and low-budget. But definitely entertaining. Heather Locklear's first leading role in a feature film. See more Melissa M Mar 28 This movie is a B movie for sure. B for bad acting. Be for badly made costumes. Homemade Halloween costumes & even those '80s plastic mask & costumes in a box were better made. Heather Locklear was able to save the ratings for Melrose Place, LAX and even boosted the ratings for the original Dynasty. But even her appearing this film is not enough. A lot of times they show night scenes because it's supposed to make the film more scary. Or they randomly throw in those jump scenes. Or even darken the screen for dramatic effect. In this flick they did all of those things. The movie is unwatchable for enough reasons that's the last thing it needs. Is it good thing those agents were running around with flashlights in the beginning of the film or you wouldn't be able to see anything. The only original thing about this film is that Swamp Thing is one of the good guys & he can talk. He's probably one of the best actors outside of Heather Locklear in this movie. This movie is worth watching once. But once is more than enough. See more Laze T Feb 10 just as bad as the first one See more Arwen A 12/14/2024 Terrible acting. Redeemed by Dick Durock as the Swamp Thing but only because he had the integrity to sit in the makeup chair for hours. See more Read all reviews
