Death Race... delivers the goods on tongue-in-cheek action, simplistic yet effective social commentary, and a bunch of actors who clearly get the tone of the piece, and are willing to go way over the top in silly, campy, and sometimes ultra-violent fun.

Does this come into the so bad it's good category? Since Sharknado (2013) made knowingly bad films annoying I would say 'no'. But then again it was fast paced and help my attention with insane moments and characters. It is far more like the original than the newer trilogy which were serious and actually okay films. Drive drive kill kill switch off.

A delightfully cheesy, satirical dystopia movie that was hugely influential. It also starred an all star cast. It didn't age to well but it is still enjoyable. The remake isn't bad either.

Its not satirical or cynical or political like the writers think it is. It actually feels like it was written by a 12 year old who woke up one day and realized theres a world out there and he thinks its his job to poke fun at it. And its not shocking like the original was so it has no entertainment value. People who believe this movie is eye-opening probably dont read books and think the Big Bang Theory is high comedy. It has nothing to offer someone who's seen 3 or 4 movies like this. Death Race 2050 is a waste of time even at 92 minutes.

This movie tries to be like a bad B-movie and it is but I didn’t find anything about it entertaining. Everything about the movie is bad from the acting the obvious green screen to everything. The previous death race movies weren’t anything great but this is cheesy and over the top. This movie is over the top and stupid on purpose and as a result it’s gross, boring, and terrible cinema.
