Stephanie Cooke Rogues Portal I somehow wasn't quite prepared for just HOW bananas it actually was? That should be the end of my review, to be honest. Aug 21, 2018 Full Review Kieron Moore Starburst The most striking satirical target is the take on America itself, now a post-apocalyptic wasteland - where it may feel a little close to the bone right now. Rated: 8/10 Mar 16, 2017 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Death Race 2050 will not be for everyone - or many - but they just don't make exploitation cinema like this anymore. Rated: 6/10 Jan 24, 2017 Full Review Chris Alexander ComingSoon.net Roger Corman's Death Race 2050 is loud, shrill, spastic, sadistic, stylish, slipshod, stupid and smart in equal measures. Rated: 7/10 Jan 23, 2017 Full Review Rob Vaux Sci-Fi Movie Page Don't expect it to eclipse the original - assuming the original is your cup of tea to begin with, of course - but there's still a surprising amount of gas left in this particular tank. Rated: 3/5 Jan 19, 2017 Full Review Scott Weinberg Nerdist Death Race... delivers the goods on tongue-in-cheek action, simplistic yet effective social commentary, and a bunch of actors who clearly get the tone of the piece, and are willing to go way over the top in silly, campy, and sometimes ultra-violent fun. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 19, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Liam D Like Mad Max on acid it's the best Death Race thanks to sharp satire, cheesy acting and over the top gore Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/21/22 Full Review justin t Does this come into the so bad it's good category? Since Sharknado (2013) made knowingly bad films annoying I would say 'no'. But then again it was fast paced and help my attention with insane moments and characters. It is far more like the original than the newer trilogy which were serious and actually okay films. Drive drive kill kill switch off. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A delightfully cheesy, satirical dystopia movie that was hugely influential. It also starred an all star cast. It didn't age to well but it is still enjoyable. The remake isn't bad either. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/22 Full Review Audience Member Its not satirical or cynical or political like the writers think it is. It actually feels like it was written by a 12 year old who woke up one day and realized theres a world out there and he thinks its his job to poke fun at it. And its not shocking like the original was so it has no entertainment value. People who believe this movie is eye-opening probably dont read books and think the Big Bang Theory is high comedy. It has nothing to offer someone who's seen 3 or 4 movies like this. Death Race 2050 is a waste of time even at 92 minutes. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Its stupid fun. The original was more fun but its still good in that it doesn't take itself seriously and they embrace that. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie tries to be like a bad B-movie and it is but I didn’t find anything about it entertaining. Everything about the movie is bad from the acting the obvious green screen to everything. The previous death race movies weren’t anything great but this is cheesy and over the top. This movie is over the top and stupid on purpose and as a result it’s gross, boring, and terrible cinema. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/13/20 Full Review Read all reviews
