Risto H Great Tv show used to watch when i was young and its an amazing show %100 recomend Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Best animated series ever! Characters design, background paitings, storytelling, action and messages, all beautiful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Samurai Jack has been one of my all time favorite shows ever and its movie is such a great start to the series beloved my so many SJ fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member What really amounts to a meshing together of the show's first three episodes ends up being quite the visual delight - albeit a bit lacking in complete character development. This may serve best as an introduction to the series for newcomers, since the diehard fans will most likely already own the first season on DVD, hence making owning this release irrelevant. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A solid beginning to one of the best animated series. Although I have to admit it doesn't blow my mind off like some of the later episodes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A pure-hearted (if naive) samurai (Phil LaMarr) travels the world in order to attain the necessary skills to defeat an evil wizard (Mako Iwamatsu) who conquered his home village. This wizard flings the samurai into a distant future where he must find a way to survive among a society corrupted by the wizard's centuries of dominance. This "movie" packages the first three episodes of the Samurai Jack narrative and it's a handy primer to a very unique series. The deceptively simple animation elegantly merges the atmosphere of Akira Kurosawa with the deliberate pacing of Sergio Leone and the explosive thrills of cyberpunk anime. Samurai Jack is often cited as the highlight of Genndy Tartakovsky's career as an animation director and it's very difficult to disagree.
