Spike G Not bad but not great scooby movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Shaheed B I love the opening of the movie with Daphne being on social media, because most of the movie take place where it seems like there's none of that, but even without that opening the movie would still have been really great. The jokes in this movie is absolutely hilarious and it's actually executed perfectly, like when they were walking in the hallway, Shaggy and Scooby not being hungry, the jokes about the people on the train, there is so many jokes that I going more hilarious and doesn't feel juvenile. What I also like is how they use each characters personality as part of the story, going deeper on who they are giving us really good character development especially when they were all feeling down and how they they broke out from their depression and fought back, besides Shaggy and Scooby, they were very brave which was actually hilarious. Even though having Velma as Villain was different and you would think it's absurd especially her being hypnotized but the way everything was and it's storyline, but actually worked, which gave us such an intense moment when she wanted to take Shaggy and Scooby's brains, I didn't think they would actually escape, it such a nail biting scene, it was just too good, it really set the bar high for other Scooby Doo movies, even when Daphne and Fred was trapped and it looked as if there was no way out while Shaggy and Scooby was tied up, all of that seemed more intense then it should have been, ending in such a great moment for Daphne, which just shows us that it doesn't have to be all jokes, we need moments like this even if it's an animated movie. The ending was spectacular getting the better of the bad guys by doing the same thing the bad guys did to them, that was a perfect ending, especially when big reveal on who they really are, tying all the previous villains together, it couldn't have been done better. This is actually one of the best Scooby Doo movies that there is, from beginning to the end, the story was told, it was very easy to follow and it gave us moment that slowed down the movie but have us great character development. The settings in Transylvania was perfect and even though most of it took place in the castle, but the story was so strong it didn't matter that the story took place in one location but it was very exciting and hilarious. The visuals in this movie is absolutely amazing, I love how hey have the image pan from side to side of to zoom in, for a 2D animation it was done perfectly, the same how they do it in a live action movie. This movie use visuals to portray how they feel in the scene to show and to make us feel emotional especially with its sound together, they would use sound effects in a scene to tell us what is happening like when they were walking in the hallways and they would amke the squeaky floorboards make us laugh, this movie has actually one of the best visuals and sound to tell us a story. If you want to watch Scooby Doo movies, this movie definately has to be on the list. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/31/22 Full Review Audience Member Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy will satisfie Scooby-Doo younger fans, but for the other people the plot holes and the lazy end will not convince. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Typical Scooby Doo adventure has the gang battling against an enemy like nothing they have ever faced before (or is it)?
