A movie as uncertain as the sexuality of the main characters, filmed with one of those minimal scripts that are hot right now in the auteur scene. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Lorenz L Dec 11 Absurd. Less of a story than that of an episode of a TV reality show. Virtually no dialogue, and what there is of it is delivered at a high-school drama-club level. Vague plot elements are offered, but no more: we know things are happening bit have no idea what they are or why they are happening: why is Martin's father (who never appears) so hated by his extended family and frightening to his son? What is the "document" that Martin is sent to collect from his alienated grandmother (at least I think it's his grandmother) and why is there such animosity about it until, suddenly it is handed to him? A gay subplot surfaces in only the last 15 minutes (or less). This really should have been a short film of about 15 - 20 minutes, but then again, even that would be boring. To make things ever drearier, in this dreariest of movies: neither of the main characters is remotely attractive. See more Wayne W Jan 29 In many ways, this is the antithesis of a "Hollywood" movie: the pace is slow and not everything is explained (e.g., what is the legal document Martin is trying to obtain?). Nevertheless, the performances are authentic and the exterior shots are beautiful. See more super a Jan 11 Painfully slow and rather pointless. The only thing it had going for it was the beautiful lead actors. I still don't know what the document was his Dad wanted from Grandma. One of the best gay films I've ever watched :) See more 12/19/2015 Most of this movie was like watching paint dry. And I'm okay with that ... most artsy movies have that zen-like, slow moving style ... and it can be quiet beautiful and meditative. However, this pointless movie was just a study in pointlessness ... with no real purpose or story to speak of? It felt like the people behind this film really didn't give a fuck about whether the audience would have a clue about what the was going on. They just threw together a bunch of random scenes and odd ball situations + conversations ... vague references to bizarre things and out of the blue remarks ... and yeah, lets call it a movie! A drunken, butt dialled cell phone call would make more sense than this movie ... WTF! Avoid, avoid, avoid, OMG avoid ... See more Read all reviews
