Audience Member I was lucky to hear the movie director and his brother, the producer, explain how this movie was their interpretation of their parent's engagement dinner. "Surely," they said, "it was a very strange day." This was the first Avati movie I've seen, and like movies of a similar style, I like the way he portrays life situations with a tongue-in-cheek humor and still a sense of seriousness.
