Audience Member I read many bad reviews from this film but I sincerely don't subscribe them. I don't get all the hatred towards Andrea Bianchi as a director. I'd say that it is a very conventional Giallo film which follows most of the traditions of the genre thus paying an homage to Dario Argento, Mario-Lamberto Bava, Lucio Fulci et allii: the identity of the murderer is casually shown in the first few minutes, only to be revealed at the very last 5 minutes and in the meantime the viewer is entertained by a series of gruesome murders perpretated by a mysterious person with black gloves. The director added a bit of spiciness to the plot by leaving nothing to the imagination with gorgeous women and also by creating a moral conflict in the spectator (the motto behind the plot deals with illegal abortions). I wouldn't say that it is a phenomenal film but it is terribly entertaining: a giallo in its truest sense. There is a lot of nudity in this, particularly in the case of the gorgeous Edwidge Fenech. The Giallo elements are all there. The killer not only has black leather gloves but dresses in a black leather motorcycle jacket and leather pants and wears a crash helmet to obscure their identity. The hero Carlo (Nino Castelnuovo) and his girlfriend Magda (Fenech) act as amateur sleuths and do not trust the police. There are bloody murders of both men and women associated with a transgression in the past and all connected to a Milanese modelling agency. Its terribly sexist and filled with offensive gay stereotypes and the version I saw had American voice actors dubbing over the original Italian but the accents did not mesh with the European locales.
