Audience Member Bland, weird, but somewhat watchable. The characters are boring and the suspense stays dead, but I guess it maintains all of the plot elements. Better with MST3K though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member It's amateur hour at the movies; juvenile delinquency drama at its most inept. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Just look at the poster for this movie. It looks pretty damn intriguing, doesn't it? Well, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but this movie is nowhere near as good as that poster implies it to be. I'm actually thinking of suing for false advertising. I'm kidding, of course, but Teen-Age Strangler (AKA Terror in the Night) is about as interesting as a bad screensaver. It's chock full of bad acting, poor lighting, inconsistent color temperatures, horrible blocking... well, you get the idea. It's not anything I'd even recommend to anybody looking for a bad movie to watch. However, if you can make your way through it for the character of Mikey, you'll be rewarded with some laughs. I certainly had a few. It didn't help much that the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew was all over that character. Actually, I'd recommend watching THAT version of the movie, but not in any other way. It's boring, terrible and should be removed from all of society at once! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Mikey, the worst actor in the history of MST3K films. Hilariously bad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member MST3K! I remember this one being pretty darn awful. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member hey, wanna watch a movie where it's painfully obvious who the killer is before the first murder even happens? then watch this film. it's so stupid and pointless....and the title is misleading. the killer isn't a teen-ager nor are all the people they kill...so...they should probably re-name this movie something else....like 'waste of time'. the only saving grace this movie has is in the form of mikey, the awkward, nerdy kid with a whiney voice and weird accent...mocking mikey during the film (and using an impersonation of him at random points while walking around in society) gave it some much needed entertainment...but the film itself is still a bit of a dump.
