kevin c A young woman living in Paris and working at a jewelry store seems to meet the man of her dreams, but he carries his own secrets with his relationship with an older woman and her illegal dealings. Hugh Dancy, Rachel Leigh Cook and Melanie Griffith star in this mostly mediocre crime drama. Elevated only by the surprisingly good cast. Unfortunately the story itself is nothing special. They were trying desperately to make time pass and make the film have some intensity to it. To me it was just annoying. Even the ending wasn't surprising. The only thing that made it watchable was Rachael Leigh Cook performance. Der Film ist weder spannend, noch lustig, noch hat er irgendeinen Sinn - und dazu hat er noch eine nervige Kameraführung und ist schlecht geschnitten. Lediglich Hugh Dancys - nebenbei bemerkt: völlig sinnlose und unmotivierte - Duschszene hat mich vom Einschlafen abgehalten.
