martin a Wonderful creepy vintage horror as a crazy doctors experiments go horribly wrong but can anyone escape the Island? Loved it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member terror is this horrible picture! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member incredibly slow ripoff of the Island of Dr. Moreau Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't know if terror is a man or a cat man, but I do know that this movie is boooooooring. A wannabe adaptation of The Island of Dr. Moreau, the only thing really noteworthy about this flick is its attempt at William Castle-like showmanship with its turnaway bell & raw surgical meat splicing...and according to the excellent documentary Machete Maidens Unleashed, Terror is a Man is the birth of the Philippines exploitation movement. Cool. Sure. But such notes not a good movie make, and when all is said and done this is just a snoozefest with a couple of bright Cat Mummy moments. VF. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Helt ok liten skräckfilm. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Based on The Island of Dr Moreau, a ship-wrecked sailor washes to shore on a island (Blood Island, to be exact) to be rescued by a local scientist. The scientist/surgeon lives on the island with his hot wife (who at one point is obviously playing with herself in bed and later has a camel-toe) and assistant. There is a village present on the island as well, and they have reported missing/murdered people. Apparently, the scientist has created a human from a panther; the panther roams the island jungle killing. The sailor investigates and there is the expected snooping and showdown. For being a 50s Filipino horror film, this wasn't as bad as it could have been (just VERY slow paced). Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
