M C One of the best things I've watched in years. Excellent story, acting, dialog, action, and everything else. This story is a study on the psychology of man. Not just hardship and revenge and the simple shades of hardship that you find in most other shows. This show captures so much more. The characters are deep and real, and it reveals the steel of 19th century men. Yet for all the hardship and terror, it's not difficult to watch because it's engaging. It's based on a book of the same name, which is based on a real ship of the same name. The book, it turns out, was right about many things that were not proved until after the book was written. And I have to say that, after watching him in the Expanse and Foundation, Jared Harris is becoming one of my favorite actors.
