      Elvis D Sci Fi Channel siempre ha tenido la fama de traer películas de bajo presupuesto que, por muy absurdas o ridículas que puedan ser, resultan ser muy entretenidas y disfrutables. En esta ocasión, la productora presenta esta versión del Boogeyman que, con algunas características de dicha criatura, utiliza el relato bíblico de Caín y Abel. Lo que la película muestra respecto a este Boogeyman en relación con la historia de Caín y Abel, llega a ser algo ridícula. Un punto justificable es que la historia de estos dos hermanos ha tenido ciertas versiones, en una de ella se dice que Dios castigo a Caín convirtiéndolo en un ser no-muerto. Claro que el Boogeyman ha tenido distintas variantes desde hace mucho tiempo. La película es algo difícil de catalogar como una película de terror porque no se toma en serio a sí misma y se autoparodia. Tiene unos momentos humorísticos que hacen que se pierda la seriedad de la historia. El argumento es simple, con varias cosas sueltas, pero el objetivo es claramente ser una película de serie B que no necesariamente deba tomarse en serio. En cuanto los efectos, es muy común ver escenarios hechos con CGI en estas películas y el diseño del Boogeyman es algo rescatable. Se puede decir que esta es una película de monstruos bastante entretenida siempre y cuando no te la tomes en serio. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 7/10. The main protagonist (Lester Billings) was interesting but I was unsure if this was a good or bad performance, I want to say good but the direction was bad and the effects were cheesy thus bringing down the actor.
