Raiodesol S 11/02/2024 While cheesy and predictable, the effort to do something a tiny different is there. Good kills and good enough characters. See more Juli N 10/04/2024 Pure 80s Slashfest! Grotesque onscreen kills that will leave a lasting impression! See more M M 08/23/2023 I really liked the part where he kills the college kids with oddball tools. I also watched the new Star Wars show Ahsoka, but that show sucks big time in comparison to THE MUTILATOR!!!!! See more Chad G 04/15/2023 When it comes to horror films that haven't aged well, The Mutilator usually comes to mind. It is a prime example of pure 80s horror cheese. While the film takes a bold risk in revealing the killer at the start, it unfortunately fails to build any real suspense or intrigue after that. From the outset, the film feels like a sitcom with its opening credits and theme song, which was not needed. While it follows the basic horror premise of teens getting knocked off one by one, other films have done it better. However, "The Mutilator" does manage to deliver some brutal kills using various fishing and ocean equipment, though the special effects have not aged well. Overall this film falls in the middle of the road for horror films, with few qualities that make it stand out from the crowd. While the gore is plentiful, the dated effects and predictable storyline make it a disappointing watch. See more Steve D 03/07/2023 Nothing memorable or new here. See more Samantha H 10/31/2022 I think I have found my new favourite horror genre. Badly acted 80s B-movie slashers. This was so bad, it was brilliant! Plus the song Fall Break is catchy See more Read all reviews
