Audience Member This documentary makes you want to wallow in a state of capitalist dread as corporate giants deface the landscape of smaller businesses. That is until a little coffee place in Oklahoma stands up to a very ubiquitous Seattle-based coffee chain. And wins. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member As an aspiring entrepreneur and someone who believes that excellence is not imitation, I find this documentary very appealing. You can definitely see that this is a labor or love and Amy does a good job of remaining balanced yet passionately makes the case for small coffee shops and independent businesses of all types. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Though I feel it wanders from it original point and becomes a focus story in the method of David vs. Goliath, I still found this enjoyable. Call me biased, but having worked for the evil empire and being one of those employees that actually became engrossed with the culture of the product, not the dollar signs and who often had battles about the product being served, I found this to really hit several key points that the mass populous should really awaken to, not simply in coffee, but in all consumerism as well as just general principals of life. In short, learn to truly appreciate something and know its rich history to truly understand the need for quality. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
