John p Boring as heck, nothing scary or interesting until literally the last two minutes of the film. Could be better served as a Riff Trax feature Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Pattid123 It's a totally 50's "B" movie with crude special effects. Mildly entertaining. Not my first choice in sci-fi movies. But... It's something to watch on a rainy Saturday afternoon...When there's nothing else worth watching. 🍅 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review jc a It is not the normal invasion genre of its period; no monsters or ray guns. The "Martians" come to defend tneir world against invasion and their tactics have been thought out carefully. It is a movie of cause and effect. I found it a refreshing change from the usual cold war sci fy of the period. Well acted and fairly well written in the same genre as Starman, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers just more low keyed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review deke p Not usual Mars Invaders stuff. Kinda interesting. More like a family drama, but the fambly is being replicated & replaced by look-alike Martians. Kinda like that other much more famous movie. Nobody famous in this one, except Queen of the Bees "MARIE WINDSOR" *no relation", who was glookin. I'm giving it 2 1/1 RT stars on 4.27.2022. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review robert p A typical 1960's movie that was so boring, (especially in B & W) that I fast forward til the very campy end. Absolutely no special effects, or anything like that, this movie was just catering to the paranoia that existed back in those times, honestly I snickered through the entire movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Bernard K Watch it if you're bored to near-death, then it passes the time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/18/21 Full Review Read all reviews
