Dashing private detective Tom Lawrence (Tom Conway) stumbles upon a curious crime: a man killed by rattlesnake venom. While it might be a common enough occurrence in Texas, it's a rarity in a New York City nightclub. Lawrence -- better known as "the Falcon" -- ventures out to the Lone Star State to get to the bottom of the mystery. At the dead man's ranch, Lawrence and the victim's girlfriend, Vanessa Drake (Carole Gallagher), discover a viper's nest of suspects, all of whom have motives.

Russ G Half western, half murder mystery. Of course the mystery is inscrutable to everyone but Tom Lawrence aka The Falcon, but that's par for these B movies. Perry Mason's secretary Della Street in a former lifetime [Barbara Hale] makes a quite fetching cowgirl. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Tom Conway is back as The Falcon, this time solving the murder of a Texas rancher. The change of setting is an interesting variation for the suave detective, and while this entry is nothing spectacular, it's enjoyable and pretty much on parr with the rest of the series.
