Luis Fernando Galván En Filme The Hollow Child is a horror movie that reproduces many clichés, formulas, and predictable strategies that alienate the viewer from the emotions and tribulations the protagonist experiences. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: 2/5 Jan 21, 2020 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film A confident, multi-layered film which makes highly effective use of simple cinematic techniques to forge a connection with the primal, The Hollow Child is a further sign that the growing Raven Banner brand is one worth looking out for. Rated: 4/5 Oct 31, 2018 Full Review John Higgins Starburst Whilst it may not be destined to set the box-office alight - and will probably find its place on streaming and cable channels, The Hollow Child is a passably diverting supernatural thriller and a film with talent to watch out for in the future. Rated: 7/10 Sep 21, 2017 Full Review Michael D. Reid Victoria Times Colonist (B.C., Canada) McLeod's performance is as much a highlight as the spooky spirit Lutter conjures, enhanced by Nelson and Graham Talbot's striking cinematography and David Parfit's sinister score. Cristian s Regular. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review Audience Member Cheap, B-movie that is trying really hard to be serious, it made it on to a premium cable channel so someone must have saw something in it or owed someone a favor. Slow and uninteresting, I should have turned this off. This may be the longest 90 minute movie I've ever seen. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The film is much better than expected. Very beautiful Canadian forest and very scary. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Bored and it's not scary Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Adis M One time watch this is enough. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/18 Full Review Audience Member I was expecting a “B movie” and decided to watch it because there was nothing else on DirectTV and I was bored. To my surprise this movie is actually pretty good! Try it, it may just surprise you too! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/23/18 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
