The film "Island" was released in China on August 10, 2018. This is an anthropological film with the theme of world destruction, exploration, nature and islands. He also showed the social development of human beings and the socio-economic development of human beings.
This movie is similar to the survival of the desert island in the multiplayer version. When people first entered the desert island, they were a group of people from a normal and complete social system, and they could still maintain their original values and worldview for a short time. But when food and survival became a big problem, primitive human nature began to be exposed. When money loses its original monetary value. The rich are no longer at the top of the pyramid. When they finished bamboo rafting and the two fled the deserted island, they discovered the body of a polar bear, which made people on the island more convinced that the real world outside had been destroyed, which exacerbated their fear and despair. The MA began to exchange some useful resources, and after a period of hard work, the island had already generated electricity. It made people's lives better, so the two of them were pushed to the top. Inadvertently, Ma's cousin discovered that outside facts still exist. I want to trap these people on the island and ask them to sign and rename the company on the mainland. But in the end, MA stopped his cousin and saved everyone. As you watch this movie, the author changes his mood as the plot is written. This movie also performs very well, it can make you immersive. Worth seeing

When does a movie deserve a perfect score? When it's meaningful, entertaining and makes no amateurish mistakes. One shall not be too coy with the perfect score whether it's 5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10. We all know nothing is perfect in life so why would you nitpick? The reason I addressed this is because, as far as I'm concerned, this movie is perfect even if someone comes up to me and point out some lighting or scripting mistakes that didn't follow their rulebook. If the majority of the audience doesn't notice it, it doesn't matter. I have nothing to complain about the CGI either, it's flawless. There can be a perfect film for every genre, a perfect horror film or a perfect action film. This is the perfect psychological film and still manages to be entertaining for the casual audience to enjoy. It's a psychological roller coaster which explores so many interesting subjects, never a dull moment. It's comedy moments are natural, funny and relatable unlike many corny slapstick comedies in the market. The actors and actresses are experienced and/or amazing. The script is smart and every story moment is meaningful, exploring human nature and society structure. The script also allowed moments of break for the audience to take in breathtaking visuals that were directed and edited with excellence.

The story is like a huge analogy, but it's not clear how I should compare it too. The pace of the story is a little too slow for my liking, but it is still engaging until the end.

It's everyone's worst nightmare: on the day you win the lottery with a mega-million payout, a freak act of nature lands you stranded on a deserted island with no way to collect your newfound windfall. So is the basic setup of "The Island," an offbeat dramedy from director Bo Huang. The film is a runaway hit in its origin country of China, but its sprawling story and lengthy runtime may prove to be a little challenging for many viewers.
It was supposed to be just like every other normal day for buddies Ma Jin (Huang) and Xing (Yixing Zhang) on the morning of their office-wide team building trip. But just as the group embarks on their adventure, their tour boat is rammed by a giant wave, leaving the office workers stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean. With little hope for rescue, tensions begin to flare and two competing factions develop.
The film is a survivalist drama that feels like "Lord of the Flies" meets "Gilligan's Island." Chaos reigns as those in charge are loved then hated by the masses. First they work as laborers until a system to set up a capitalist island economy is devised. Eventually, they are seduced by a leader who tells them what they want to hear and thus sealing their fate. It's a thinly veiled satire on the gross abuse of power.
The lighthearted moments work the best, with some universally funny workplace gags about office romances with a beautiful woman (Qi Shu) and shortsighted bosses (Hewei Yu), and there's a spectacular (if more than a little ridiculous) disaster montage opening sequence with explosions, a tsunami, whales, and a bus that glides upright underwater.
The film is polished with snazzy special effects and an eclectic soundtrack, but this one will likely puzzle American audiences with its inconsistent humor and cultural differences. This isn't to say mainstream U.S. audiences can't enjoy the movie, but it certainly will feel a little strange to most.
