Here's a pretentious, clich-ridden, London-set thriller notable for absolutely nothing. Go to Full Review

All this could have made an interesting film, but the dialogue and direction are just so agonisingly laboured. Go to Full Review

As low on scares as it is on sense, good acting, musical numbers or other recognisable merits. Go to Full Review

Director Imran Naqvi evokes the requisite air of dread but is let down by an ending that neither surprises nor satisfies. Go to Full Review

Predictable British thriller with a lacklustre script, poor direction and atrocious performances, though it does at least deserve points for its deserted London scenes. Go to Full Review

Anton N 11/29/2023 I loved the premise. In fact, the best parts of The Last Seven were those that reminded me of The Quiet Earth. Sadly, however, The Last Seven does not execute beautifully like The Quiet Earth did. If you haven't seen The Quiet Earth, you really should. Thoroughly entertaining, start to finish. As for The Last Seven, it was ruined by editing. We had a reasonably coherent narrative, of these survivors of some apocalyptic event; and we get to explore the new state of London with them. The problem is this movie has more flashbacks than a Vietnam Vet on acid. It was hard to follow along, and also difficult to separate which time period we are in at any given time. In the end, if there was a resolution, I couldn't find it. We never discover what caused the event, and we never know what will become of our main characters. Maybe I'm dense and I just don't understand; but I rarely have that problem with movies that are well-made. If you watch this movie, I recommend giving it the 30 minute test. If it doesn't make sense to you, it probably never will, and you should immediately just watch The Quiet Earth instead. It's just like every other "everyone's vanished" type movies only more confusing until the end. See more 04/24/2013 nothing very special, but pretty interesting story.. See more 10/10/2012 You no somethings gonna be awful when danny dyer is narrating really badly at the start of the film. To the films credit the empty london scenes are at least impressive. But the twist you will figure out as soon as the 1st guy opens his eyes and gets up,some of the acting really is abysmal and almost everything youve seen in better horror/thrillers.
