Thomas J This was written by a New Age Japanese cult called Happy Science. As such, it's much like their ideals- loopy and mishmash with religion, reincarnation, time travel and aliens all thrown into a big melting pot full of anime tropes. There's some simple yet charming character arcs, serviceable 2D animation and a few good character designs in there (the highlight for me is Zamza and her arc of realising Might doesn't always make Right), but if you're looking for something with a proper message or emotional impact, all you'll find is the ramblings of a cult's propaganda. Oh, and the Lord Alpha, God of Earth is a stand in for the Happy Science's ""god"" El Cantare, which is really the God OC of their (former) cult leader Ryuho Okawa. Nuff said. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent animation from Japan with quite a lot of action scenes, but also with a deeper message about values we should follow in our world. With the many conflicts occurring between countries, cultures, beliefs and between different races, this movie makes us think about whether the might of strength or a higher power such as love and faith that leads to harmony and understanding is more important. I thought it was an exciting and interesting anime movie with a great deeper message to share. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member What a beautiful and spiritual movie this is! This movie bestows us, from the view of the universe, the secret of humanity and let us know why we, human race, has been inhabiting the earth. And also, I'm convinced that you can obtain the true meaning of "The world becomes as one","overcoming the difference of ethinic group" and the reason why God created the human race as "earthling". Anyhow, you should never miss this movie if you want to know the seacret of the earth and "the laws of the universe!!" Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great story, animation and musics! So touched my heart. Don't miss it! This movie definitely will open your eyes! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This may possibly the most grandly huge spectacle of a plot ever devised yet in any film. Oh, and it's supposed to be the truth too, not just wild fiction. It does move the heart in some scenes. Just seeing the reptilian planet or Alpha is worth it alone. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I've seen the trailer and was curious to see this, since I have interest in space and universe. I would have to say that the descriptions of the Zeta planet, the age of Alpha, Pleiades, were just beautiful and outstanding! Also I liked the music used in the scenes. It's really dramatic. The story itself was interesting and the message behind it made me think about how to unite and love each other in a real true way. Will there be another series of this?
