Audience Member This is little more than Christmas kitsch but it has a nice heart to it and nothing to really dislike. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This christmas film was a little over the top with sugariness of it. The sweetness of it could not cover how poorly done the movie was. The first thing I noticed was no snow and the story takes place in Wisconsin on the night before the night before Christmas. Now, I tried to look this up but couldn't find an answer. So, from my lack of knowledge I've come to the conclusion that Wisconsin has never had a christmas without snow. It's never happened. There was a number of other inconsistencies throughout the film. The best performance out of the film was RD Reid as Santa and I enjoyed that he was more Germanic Santa then what is usually portrayed. www.what-to-watch.com Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A touching story about bringing one family together using the magic of Christmas. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst Christmas films I have ever seen! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This film must have been very low budget as far as special FX and Nigel the Elf's acting are concerned but still an enjoyable film with a nice storyline. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't review this film without using the words christmas and turkey...so there you go, done! This is one of those tragedies of a family film where neither the parents nor the children win! The story is basically that Santa (somehow - not particularly well-explained) ends up delivering xmas presents a day early! and if that's not enough, he falls off a roof and thereafter, suffers from amnesia, not even knowing who he is. Unfortunately the audience by this point probably don't care who he is! Instead of focusing on the supposed plot of using xmas traditions to revive santa's memory, the film decides to distract the audience (like a punch in the face) with repetitive, unoriginal and patronising moral statements about parents being too busy for christmas. The characters are so stereotypical and corny that no one (parent or child could relate to any of them on any level) and the film is completely devoid of any action, humour or warmth. Its a shame that, at a time when so few good christmas films are made, instead of some jolly festive relief, this film presents us with a mild, patronising tap on the wrist.
