Audience Member "My pipes are clean, plumber!" A newlywed upscale couple move into a downscale NYC apartment with a refrigerator to Hell. The smart fridge eats people, sending them to the lake of eternal sulfur. The wife attempts to find an acting gig and the hubby languishes at his flashy new job. The refrigerator controls the husband as he starts becoming daemon-possessed, jealous, sexually-aggressive, and a domestic abuser. Comedic at points, but actually a very dark movie which left me feeling kinda sick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Corny and dumb but not without charm. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Ställer man in en tårta tar den en bit! Ett demonbesatt kylskåp ställer till besvär för ett ungt New york par. Inte fullt så uselt som man kan tro...eller jo kanske. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This comically bad killer kitchen appliance film is about a young married husband (a corporate climbing obsessed yuppie wannabe) and wife (a poor man's Heather Graham, though less slutty) who move to the big city to capture their dreams. They are unfortunate enough to move into a house with a refrigerator that is possessed by the devil and very, very hungry. The deaths and comedic moments are few and very far apart to elevate this film to cult status, so we are forced to watch the pain and suffering the lead actress endures (the husband is generally away throughout most of the movie). Her overall character is very annoying and you come to hate her, especially at the end when she winds up being a murdering, two-timing bitch who receives a very un-well deserved happy ending. Silly little film that could have been the next Slime City or Street Trash but goes at it pretty tame and gets low results in doing so. The only mildly redeeming quality is Juan the Plumber who has a funny scene where he shows off his flamenco dance for an inappropriately-long time.
