Who the hell have made this movie? It's a really bad and stupid movie, bring the director to me for hit his ass . Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/23 Full Review Pearl H This felt about half an hour longer than it needed to be, and the runtime was only about 90 minutes. It suffered from some real pacing issues, so I felt like it went on, and on, and on. Which you wouldn't think would be possible for a film that is supposed to be this high stakes. But for the most part I was just so terribly bored. We follow a group of civilians who are rounded up and set loose in the forest as targets for military veterans to kill, supposedly as a method of curing PTSD. So this film not only requires bucket loads of belief suspension, but also it assumes we haven't already seen about twenty films with similar ideas. And therefore aims to surprise us with the same twists and tropes that we have seen in those previous twenty films we have all already seen. It's safe to say that I saw everything coming, even down to the final few plot twists that come late in the very rushed third act. All the characters are stereotypes of the kinds of people you would expect to find in any ensemble cast like this. And most of the acting was passable at best. There was no real character development, as we never spend enough time with anyone to get to know them. We are only really given the backstories of our cast of victims in very short clips throughout the opening minutes of the film. Most of them are blink and you miss it fast, and are pretty generic. So no empathy, or even dislike of any kind is formed there. So there are no emotions attached once these people start getting picked off. During several points of the film the sound was awful, like there was clearly a issue with the microphones or something. It really took me out of the action. Overall this is a hard pass. And I suggest you give it a miss too. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/23 Full Review jake h I love a fresh take on an old story. Let's me watch and chill. Visuals were tight. Music was really cool. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ladawn j I'm a filmmaker myself and I heard on a podcast that they made this for $95K?! How?! I honestly can't even. Loved Gabriel Grier. He was looking fine as hell too. Super fun movie! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Lauren P I really enjoyed this film. A new light on PTSD for me. It was fun and easy to follow without being too dramatic the whole time. Great actors too. People I hadn't seen much or ever before and they absolutely killed it!
