Sanny G Mitch was definitely the best part of the film cuz he had all the humor but really confused by most of the randomness Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review Audience Member There were so many things that made no sense: 1. Why did he wait 10 years to make a move, when she clearly said she was interested in giving it a shot at the beginning???? 2. The random horny chick that rode up on him in an empty parking lot 3. Going to the airport to fly to Hawaii, but then not going to Hawaii 4. Chugging a bottle of booze with a stranger at the airport, then driving to Las Vegas 5. The random couple that broke into his car, then letting them stay and hook up? 6. Playing phone tag with Hailey Duffs mom 7. Hailey Duffs mom being totally okay that a random guy who her daughter hasnt seen or heard from in a decade drove across the country to see and tells him her exact location at what time 8. The whipping post (wtf??) 9. The cult run by the texas guy 10. The dude drove off after running over his fiancees dog to "protect his family name" what?? And much much more I like Hailey Duff though Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie changed my life. It was full of humor, romance, and unexpected twists. I laughed, and I cried. It was truly inspirational. An experience to remember, with truly high quality acting. If you're in college, this can be especially relatable because of all those awkward experiences. All you dog-lovers, this is the movie for you! P.S. You might think my review is sarcastic, but it really isn't. This movie is a lost classic. Providing hours of entertainment, it's actually really good. For real. Not kidding. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible. Just horrible. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Its impulsive to call this the worst movie ever made. But it is the worst movie I've ever seen. Via my wife, I have sat through a few dozen Hallmark channel Christmas "classics", and they are all The Maltese Falcon compared to this sh*tshow. I would guess an all in film budget in the thousands of dollars range. Frankly I'm surprised it is in high definition. It was often difficult to know what geographic location the scene was taking place in. Boston, Texas, San Diego, Vegas, Hawaii. Who f'in knows? Just soak it all in. I could list a few hundred instances of plot insanity, but my favorite part is that Mitch asks Mom if there is a bar nearby, and she says, "Sure, Lucky's, right up the street", cut to an outside shot of the bar, with a giant sign saying "Tommy Sullivan's". A close second is the roadkill dog just layed up on a desk at the Vet. Hard knocks veterinarian I guess. The type of movie that may result in an hour of giggles with the aid of some pot brownies. And in the end, that is the Wedding Pact's true gift. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member In the spirit of full disclosure, Matt was a student of mine in college. So maybe 4 stars is partly influenced by that relationship. This movie might not have played well on the big screen, but I rented it and watched on TV and found it enjoyable. It was not boring and I cared about the characters -- important factors when it comes to my movie-watching. Keep up the good work, Matt!
