And nice to see that The Thomas Crown Affair has survived its glossy, glam makeover so well. Farah R The Thomas Crown Affair is Brosnan at his best: a wealthy, suave, and dashing gentleman with a secret. Only this time, instead of being an intelligence agent, he's a thief. His charm and chemistry with costar Rene Russo are compelling, but the mystery of the stolen painting quickly unravels the predictability of the plot. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Al K Great cast, great performances, and great locations. The very end was a bit of a disappointment. I watch a couple times a year when I want a very entertaining movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/30/24 Full Review Jason R Good film, worth a watch Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Entropy O Surprisingly, I liked this remake better than the original. The love affair plays a little bit more believable and more developed. And I liked the art spin, fun and thrilling. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/22/23 Full Review Cynthia R So, nearly twenty five years later I revisited The Thomas Crown Affair 1999 via DVD. Yep, DVD.The heist, the romance, the actors, the music, the fashion. Loved it. And, ummm, McTiernan's commentary was great, too. One of many fun comments was about Russo's wardrobe with boots. Absolutely, spot-on. Russo and Brosnan, totally Fun! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
