Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Love at its most hectic, ugly, mad, passionate, violent, and warped. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This film has no mercy for its characters and its audience. Some loose strings in the plot too. Very feeble attempts to poetry are drowned in the overwhelming sorrow. A disappointment, probably because of the high expectations on the director. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member film abbastanza pesante... specialmente la fine... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Scelto dalla locandina, mi son trovato davanti ad un film crudo e stressante. Se lo sapevo guardavo ben altro! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Emma is having a Perfect Day: worked all night at a phone center, in the morning got fired, terrorized by her separated husband in the afternoon and had no idea where her lovely kids were by the nightfall. Mr. Ozpetek knows how to write a good story and it is a first class, gifted and sensible director. The women in this and all his films are gorgeous and amazingly talented. Isabella Ferrari (Emma) and Monica Guerritore (Mara) are just two of an exceptional ensemble of fine actors in this powerful film; there is a silent attraction and a massive need for each other, especially this night. The phone rings and the credits are rolling before we ever find out the mothers reaction to the tragic news. All I can imagine that she will never be the same, ever again.
